Another one for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge! I did this one for my cousin, who just got married.

Another one for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge! I did this one for my cousin, who just got married.

It's graduation time! And we have lots of them in the family! What better way to get these cards done than to incorporate this week's Color Inspiration Challenge from Kristina Werner?

Here's my second creation for the kwernerdesignblog Color Inspiration Challenge:
This is a take off of the Mother's Day card we made in SU Club this month.

I decided to do the Color Inspiration Challenge again at kwernerdesignblog! This time, there are goodies involved! We can only post one entry, and this is one of two that I created... I am still having a hardtime deciding which one to choose!
For this little gift box, I covered a box I had with DCWV "Citrus" paper and used my SU "Say it with Scallops" stamp set.
The flower on top was originally a white Prima flower, but I used my "coffee" glimmer mist to turn it brown, then added some pearl accents in the middle that I covered with yellow "sugarcoating" glitter from doodlebug design.
I am a major hoarder of all things basic gray, so when the "Embellish It" booth had these great layout samples, I had to take some pics so I could hopefully get to using my stash of BG paper! I have this horrible habit of NOT using the paper I love. So I thought I would share for those of you that may share my disease or just want some inspiration!
I uploaded these pics at a little larger resolution, so if you click on them, you should get better detail:

I discovered an awesome inspiration site last night! kwernerdesign blog! I am SO moved and motivated by color that I took up her weekly color challenge on the spot!
Here it is!I used the SU "Top Note" big shot die, the SU "delicate dots" designer series paper, the SU "Say it with Scallops" stamp set, My SU Scallop square punch, Martha Stewart brown twill tape ribbon, an MM acetate flower, a paper studio flower, and some Kaiser Kraft brown pearl accents. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the SU "in" colors, so I had to use my Staz-on ink in pumpkin. My first challenge - ever! And I had lots of fun! :o)
Just found this at Two Peas while browsing with Didi! We’re taking this project on! Anyone else wanna join in? :o)
